All around Town; Saturday [ 02/07 ].

It was hardly St. Canard, but that was no reason to not be in action! Swooping from rooftop to rooftop, dipping into alleys, occasionally smashing his beak into a wall, the Masked Mallard made his rounds, looking for crime.

"I am the terror that flaps in the night!" he called as he swung. It didn't seem to matter much that it wasn't night at all.

"I," he said, swinging, "am the kernel of popcorn that gets stuck in your teeth!"

"I," swing, "am DARKWING DUCK!"

Miraculously, he landed on the next rooftop, standing up straight as he looked over the town.

"Let's get dangerous."

There was noise, and Harry was grabbing for a gun he still didn't have. "...What the hell, man?" he asked, staring up at the roof. "...What did that guy put in my drink?!"

Darkwing Duck sense movement and promptly turned toward it, with a flourish of his his cape. "You, th--"

He had promptly turned right off the edge of the roof and went down, bill first, into the cobblestones.

Nothing a little scramble to his feet, another flourish of cape, and a bit of beak adjusting couldn't fix. He brushed himself off. "I have determined that the dangerous drop of the domestic droves of this place are a doozy. Hello, citizen."

"Yeah, they look like one," Harry said. He kinda went backwards on that count. "...Please tell me you're wearing a suit or something." Talking ducks? What was happening here? "Real nice suit," he said, just to be sure, "You get that at, uh..." he trailed off.

"Thank you," DW preened, which was exceptionally easy considering he was a anthropomorphic bird, shoulders squaring to better show off his dashing duds. "It pays to fight crime in style. In fact, Style is one of my many middle names."

"Good luck getting that on your tax forms," said Harry, who was by now kind of too shell-shocked to do anything. "And is that, uh..." he indicated the hat. "Real..."

He did not have any idea what to say here. He should just... go for another run.

Greg Brady was walking town around with his guitar. It just seemed like a good day for such a thing. Such a good day, in fact, that he felt the urge to sing a song exactly about that.

"I think I'll go for a walk outside now
The summer sun's calling my name

I just can't stay inside all day
I gotta get out get me some of those raa-aaaa-ays."

He started clapping his hands and dancing, although music still seemed to be playing. It was best not to question it.

Ah, ha! A crime! DW quickly swung in to stop this.

"That's enough of that," he stated. "The noxious noise of your needless number is not to continue."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you want to sing the next verse? I can do backup vocals," Greg said.

The music continued playing for some reason.

"I want you to," and out came the gas gun, "Suck gas, evildoer."

DW pulled the trigger, launching out a grenade, that, when it hit the ground would fill the air with smoke. Smoke to make you cough. Couldn't sing when you were coughing! Ha!

"No, thank you, I've already gone through the embarrassment of my parents finding somebody else's cigarettes in my jacket," Greg said cheerfully as he took a few steps away from the gas. "If my clothes smelled like smoke, they might think I finally gave into peer pressure."

"Where am I?" Louis Tully fretted out loud. He'd woken up in a strange hotel room, and when he'd come outside, he didn't recognize anything. "Was I possessed again?"

And now he had a duck in a mask and a cape and a very stylish jacket sweeping in to help.

"Have no fear!" he said. "Darkwing Duck is here! I bet you feel pretty lucky now; what help is needed?"

Louis squeaked and jumped back, stumbling. "A talking duck!"

"Not just any talking duck!" DW assured him. "I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the piece of gum that gets stuck in your hair. I am Darkwing Duck!"

Okay that sounded really scary. "Don't hurt me! I don't want to turn into a dog again!" Where were the guys when you needed them?

Dana had some errands to run, and on her way back to the house she was noticing swinging. Due to it being broad daylight. And she stopped, trying to figure out if it was anyone she knew, and upon that realization that she could try to figure out if it was anyone she knew, she said, "I need to get back to New York."

"New York?" DW stopped mid-swing, hopped down from the rope, and turned toward the lady he'd overheard. "I don't know where that is, but my buddy Launchpad could help you!"

Forget the fact that he hadn't seen Launchpad all day.

"Oh my god you're a giant duck. I realize I'm stating the obvious," she said, but you do seem to in fact be a giant duck."

"Not just any giant duck!" DW assured her. "I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the itch behind your shoulderblade that you can never quite reach. I am Darkwing Duck!"

Thanks to the power of suggestion, Dana's back itched there now. "Your parents did a lot of drugs in the 70's, I'm guessing."

Blossom was just taking a moment of her Saturday to make a quick flight around the island and make sure that there were no evil-doers about to disturb the good citizens of Townsville Fandom. Seeing a purple-caped figure standing atop one of the roofs made her stop mid-air.

"Oh no! Is that who I think it is? I'd better check this out before he causes any trouble!" She flew in for a closer look, hovering in the air behind the caped figure as she spoke sternly to it: "Stop right there Mojo Jojo! I don't know what evil scheme you're planning, but I won't let you get away with it!"

"And neither will I!" Bubbles announced, striking a dramatic pose. "With her, though, 'cause we're a team. Except Buttercup's part of the team but she's not here yet."

Blossom rolled her eyes. "He doesn't need to know that, Bubbles. And anyway, we don't always need Buttercup just to defeat Mojo. Especially when she won't follow my orders."

"That's only 'cause you're bossy and she's got an aaaaattitude problem," Bubbles said primly.

"I'm not 'bossy'!" She totally was. "I'm happen to be the leader of the Powerpuff Girls, and as the leader it's my responsibility to design perfect attack strategies and plans which, if followed to my exact specifications, will work perfectly in any situation. Maybe someday you and Buttercup will be grown up enough to understand that."
