His bags were packed and Biff was already getting in the mood for being on a week long cruise (although he hoped they'd stay within sight of the shore. If the Lord had wanted people to be on the water, they would've been fitted with rigging and sails) by wearing a brightly colored Hawaiian shirt and a pair of sunglasses.

"Morning, Biff!" said Daisy, because it was Sunday. "How goes it?"

"Really, really well," Biff said, grinning. "I'm going on a cruise!"

"Ooooh. So there actually is a reason for the get-up other than you just being you?"

"I probably would've worn it anyway," Biff admitted.

"Well," said Daisy, "when it looks so nice..."

"I was going to wear a hat with a singing bass on it, but figured that might be a little much," he said with a laugh.

"A little much?" asked Daisy, with a tone of surprise. "You? Showing temperance? Who are you and what have you done with Biff?"

"I was temporarily knocked off my stride this week," Biff admitted.

"Oh?" Daisy frowned a little. "Everything okay?"

Leave it to Daisy to go through that week and not really think much of it.

"Fine!" Biff assured her. "Did you know that Loki is a horrible cheating bastard at video games?"

Well, that was an...interesting segue.

"I didn't," she admitted, "but I wouldn't be surprised. But I think he might have a bit of a skewed idea of what cheating is, because he accuses me of doing it all the time, and I don't. I'm very good about playing by the rules."

Especially ones made up right on the spot.

"I think he believes cheating is 'Loki isn't winning,'" Biff slandered.

"Oh," Daisy said, pointing it out with her finger, "but he did win. And he beat me at Chinese checkers, too."

Which warranted at least a little bit of a sadface.

"Awww," Biff said. "Who won at Twister?"

"He did," said Daisy, with a nod. "But, I put up a pretty good fight."

"How 'bout I bring back a cabana boy outfit?" he tried.

Yes, she realized that that was not what he probably meant.

He wrinkled his nose at her. "I'll work very hard at it," he teased, "even though I'm not sure about the cabana boy appeal for me."

"Don't be silly," said Daisy. "Everyone loves cabana boys, don't they?"

"I think it depends on the cabana boy," Biff decided.

"Then," nodded Daisy, figuring that made her point perfectly if you thought about it, "there you go."

"Especially if he brings me drinks with umbrellas in them," Biff said. Biff was...kind of easy.

"So, do you collect snow globes? Shot glasses? Horrifyingly inappropriate t-shirts? I can pick you up some," Biff offered.

Oh, Biff with no direction. Poor Daisy. He grinned. "I'll find something great."

"What are you doing this week? Besides pining, of course."

"I'm going to be honest," said Daisy, "pining is just about the only thing on the schedule right now. It might even interfere with my work."
