Ino hated everything. She was tired, bruised, and sore and there were freaking monsters in the air. They did scream satisfyingly though when she nailed a few of them with cards wrapped with chakra.

And, oh yeah, she had to work before she could even get some sleep from her mission. Slipping into the store, she glanced around, decided it seriously wasn’t worth the effort of cleaning a whole lot today, and curled up in Cable-san’s chair.

Trying really, really hard not to fall asleep.

Jack burst into the shop and slammed the door behind him. "What the hell? Oh, they're gonna pay for that." He looked at the mess of his shirt.

Her lip curled. Dear lord, she didn't need this today.

"Then why were you outside?" she snapped. "If you came from the dorms you'd have had totally enough time to, shockingly, figure it out that outside was a bad idea. And, even more shockingly, to figure out that staying inside might be a good one."

"Which is why I'm inside now, looking for something that'll help me when I go back outside because I have things to do," he returned. "So I figured that this place might be the best prepared to help with this situation. So. Are you going to help?" He crossed his arms, else he'd be pounding fists on things and that wouldn't help.

"You already know Cable-san doesn't want anyone selling weapons to you. So, so very terribly not sorry, but I can't help you. Have fun dodging crap badly."

Oh, he heard that 'duh' all right.

"We follow orders," she said 'sweetly', "among them are no selling to you because we only sell to people with a) proper training and b) who Cable-san trusts. Neither of which you have. So go away."

"Proper traini--Fine, you know what? I'm gone!" he said, walking out and slamming the door behind him.


And, because he was in a petty mood, returning a second later to open the door and leave it open. Let Cable deal with the mess, if he has proper training.

"Have fun~!" she caroled, watching in vicious amusement as he stalked out, then came back and reopened the door. Whatever.

Not that there was much of a mess to clean up. Ino was hardly going to leave the door open for longer than the few seconds it took her to get over there and shut it again.

Tsk tsk. So childish.
