Amazingly enough, Loki was not propped up in his extra comfy chairs today. No, instead he was leaning in the doorway of the apartment building and peering at the...cereal that appeared to be coming from the sky. He recognized it (cereal was cheap and easy to find) but why the fuck Lucky Charms were raining from the sky, he had no clue. God must have been really fucking bored.

Couple that with the random pots of gold covered chocolate coins and this day was officially shaping up to be one of those harmless but weird fucking days. And he couldn't help but wonder if he'd see random fucking kids outside, trying to eat the marshmallows. Those had always been his favorite. Fuck the other stuff.

Not that he was thinking of doing that now. No, not at all.

Maybe later. Now, he was just going to watch it rain Lucky Charms and eat some chocolate.

Ronon was trying to get back in the building, cereal marshmallows stuck all over his head and making him less than happy. He stopped when Loki was blocking the door and asked, "What is this crap?"

"Cereal," Loki said, reaching up to pluck a marshmallow out of Ronon's hair. "Lucky Charms to be exact. Not a fan?"

"In my mouth, maybe," Ronon grumbled, shaking out his hair.

Hopefully Loki was far enough away not to get thwacked by a dread.

He wasn't but he was quick enough to duck to avoid a swinging dread.

"Fuck, you could poke an eye out with those," he said, stepping aside to let Ronon in. "Attach spikes to the end and you've got a lethal fucking weapon."

Ronon stepped inside, considering this idea. "Takes away some of the surprise to have the blade just hangin' out there."

"You think anyone's gonna really think you've got a weapon in your hair?" Loki asked. "They'll think it's some new hairstyling idea. I bet some girls will even ask for you to do their hair like that."

That earned Loki a personal glare. "I don't do hair. You'll hafta hit up the spa." It was likely that Ronon shouldn't know words like spa. Sadly, there had been a whole spa incident on the ship.

"The spa where you got a manicure and a pedicure?" Loki asked, grinning.

Sarah was coming through the lobby on her way to the gym, and she looked around Loki to see what was going on outside. The glace she'd taken out her apartment windows made her think it might be hail.

Nope. Not hail. It looked crunchier than hail, and sugarier too.

"Oh, it's one of those mornings."

"One of those mornings," he agreed, giving her a slight grin over his shoulder. "Hope you brought some fucking milk and a bowl."

"Maybe if we wait an hour, it'll start raining milk," Sarah suggested, returning the smile. "You eat this stuff?"

She tried to reach a palm around him to catch a handful, though she was more likely to play with it or run experiments than to eat it.

"Lucky Charms?" He shrugged, nodded. "I eat any kind of cereal. It's kind of a cornerstone of my diet. The fucking marshmallows are like crack or something. Fuck the other stuff."

"I meant more food that randomly falls from the sky," Sarah said, holding up a marshmallow and looking at it like she thought it might bite. "I'm waiting for the day it turns out to not really be food."

"Well, no, food falling from the sky generally gets a pass from me," he said and the turned some to cover a gold covered chocolate coin. "I found one of these next to my bed. Want one?"

"May a woman take shelter from this peculiar precipitation?" she asked.
