Android's Dungeon, Wednesday, 3/18

Sarah had an extra bounce in her step as she restocked the racks of comics this morning. She'd gotten a message that morning about an assignment, something about Fulcrum infiltrating a suburban neighborhood, and Chuck would only work with her on it. (He didn't want to pretend to be married to Casey or to the agent who had replaced her. Their loss, her gain.) She'd be back on a plane to go do what she did best as soon as she closed the shop on Thursday.

For now, Android's Dungeon had an unusually agreeable manager.

Hurley hadn't bought a comic book in ages. Technically, it'd been several years, given the time difference between school, but Hurley hadn't quite realized that yet.

So when he stepped in and saw all the various titles, he just sort of stared.

"Whoa."

"Oh, okay," Sarah said, going back to her restocking. "What year? Anything in particular you want to get caught up on?"

"It's, uhhh, '95," Hurley said. "So, I guess I'm gonna be lost unless it's something new."

"Yeah, that'd be a lot of comics to catch up on," Sarah said. "The one that sells best of the new titles is Youthful Vindicators, and then Ninth Wonders. They're both on the new rack if you want to take a look."

She smiled. "Take your time. We aren't busy."
