Strokes of Genius, Thursday

Katchoo was kind of sorry she'd stayed really late in town yesterday, working on the poster designs for the Art Crawl (she had to fistpump mentally when she said it -- it was like a compulsion that kind of weirded her out), once she heard the radio. Oh well. Maybe there was video.

She was still humming Queen today when she got to the shop and started working on the posters, but she'd come prepared and actually brought some Queen CDs with her. Griffin Silver'd just have to suck it up for one day.

Huh. She wondered what he was up to these days.

[OOC: The OCD set sail on the S.S. Minnow for a three-hour tour, so open. I overslept so bizarre post is bizarre . . .]

Worf was running out of ideas of what he could buy at an art store. Most of his knowledge regarding art meant that you used paint and brushes.

So he brought a ruler to the counter. And a pencil eraser.

"Hello," he said gruffly putting the items on the counter.

"I need to erase a line and then draw a straight one," Worf replied.

Yes. It sounded lame to him too but he hoped the gruff tone pulled it off.

"Yes. I have several. They are #2 and are quite adequate," Worf replied looking uncomfortable. "That is the correct pencil to use, correct?"

"If I want a darker line I'll push harder on the pencil," Worf replied.

Yeah. He's quite an artist.

"You make it sound as if it is not a valid technique," Worf grumbled.

"You implied that it wasn't," Worf grumbled.

"What exactly are your standards then?" Worf asked in a challenging sort of way.

"Very well," Worf replied taking his money out and placing it on the table. "Then I will use what I want to draw."

Not that he did. Ever.
