The Park: Saturday Morning
For the island? It was one of its favorite times of the year.
As soon as the decorations for the prom started to fall at the Town Hall, a flicker of light appeared at a familiar section in the park.
The flicker grew to a small beam which then grem to a bigger beam and then to a full blown shiny and twirly portal from which small children could jump out of.
Yes. The kid invasion had begun.
And really anyone who's been on the island for the last three years should have expected this by now.
[For the the entrance of the kidlets. My apologies for not getting this up earlier than I should have.]

Curiosity getting the better of him, Trevor had gotten closer to the portal to look at it better when he got sucked through.
"Wow, cool!" he exclaimed when he stepped out through the portal and ended up in a park of some kind. Recognizing the island from photos that his mother had, he knew enough to know that this place was Fandom and that there was a chance that his mother was there somewhere and so he started to go off looking for her.

Besides, if he managed to find his Dad? Things would be all cool again, and that was worth whatever they did to him. Although, with the way things were at home, he wondered if his mom and Uncle Sam would even miss him.

So he didn't really think about not stepping through before he did and ended up in a park with many other kids.

Okay, this rocked. But someone had to get him another sword.

Sabrina was in the holodeck along with Greskrendtregk and both her parents were on duty, she knew that she shouldn't deliberately go through the portal but she had only been four the last time it happened and part of her wanted to see Fandom again so she went through the portal.
When she came through it she look around, "this place hasn't changed at all since the last time I was here,"

Wherever she was, there were a lot of other kids there. Time to figure out what was going on before people back home freaked out and started calling the police and stuff.

Maybe this wouldn't be as bad as it looked. She shoved her hands in her back pockets and sauntered towards the nearest food depot and ignored the voice in her head that sounded like her ma saying something about her having her papa's gift for plannin'.
Aunt River would find her eventually anyway. She always did.

There was the matter of how he'd gone through a portal without authorization, but Blake was just a kid, after all. He wasn't subject to the rules handbook yet.
Plus it had been cool and sparkly.
Well, time to explore, now. Maybe he'd get to fight something. That'd be awesome.

"Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooo!" Kit whooped gleefully.

Then he got a good look at his attacker.
". . . whoa."

Malcolm landed on his butt in the middle of the grass, tumbled a few times, then stared around. What was that?

Okay, that was way too fun! Like surfing, but not, and where did all these other kids come from? Lena turned around and around and around, then bounced on her toes, trying to fgure out what just happened.

Unfortunately, he seemed to have inherited all of his parents' lack of good sense and was definitely not in Cardiff any more.

And she prob'ly shouldn't have chased the butterfly into the shiny twirly thing. But she did.
And now she was here and there were lots of other kids and Mommy was going to be very worried and upset and Daddy was going to tell her she had to be more 'sponsible if she was going to get to go hunting with him when she was bigger.
And the butterfly was gone.

He wasn't quite sure what all the kids were doing in the park, his first thought were students and he wondered if he was going to run into a young Ino when he finally did make it to the clinic. At least he was still his normal age.

"Yeah, Fandom tends to do that," he agreed, trying to remember all the redheaded students at school.

Oooh, it was the park. She recognized it. The question now was where Mom and Dad were.
Maybe if she just listened for the yelling she could find them?

He shut his eyes, poked the tip of his tongue out of the corner of his mouth, and concentrated hard until he could pick out Mommy in the Force; it was always easier than trying to find Daddy, because sometimes he hid.
When King had a sense of where to find her, he stopped for a moment, wiggled his toes in the grass, then bounded off. It was a Very Important Mission, finding his parents.
