The Lighthouse - Tuesday 5/5
As promised, Murdock was at the lighthouse, getting ready to start work on the lighthouse proper itself.
He first assessed all the tools, looking to see if any needed replacing and if there were others they needed to get. No word from that G'Kar dude yet on whether or not the shop had a pressure washer on hand. Oh well. They could start without it.
He didn't even mind the wee band that was playing nearby, but one sniff of the ... rain... and he was making damn sure to keep his coffee mug out of it.
(open! and mun's modding own pup, haha!)

Oy what a mess.
He didn't actually notice her.
(ooops! I forgot too! *facepalms with you* still want to do that or go for another day?)

He had no idea there was a spot of plaster dust on his nose and cheek.
(considering the tags we got going now, yaaaaah. lol)

She tapped her nose. "You have a little something there."
[hee, I know]

"Just wanderin' eh? That can be nice."
no subject
"Yah," she murmured. "Everyone's leaving."
no subject
"I know," he nodded.
no subject
"It's not fun saying bye to people, you know? Pretty soon I'll be doing the same thing. Not much looking forward to it."
no subject
Just like he was going to miss Amber when the time came. Damn damn.
"Yep," he nodded slightly. "But we'll keep in touch, though. Phone, that email thingy, letters. Whatever."

It was largely a joke. Mostly.

"I don't think that's true. 'Bout the windin' up just like 'em. There might be some similiarities, you're certainly just as outgoin' as they are, that's for sure," he smiled lightly, "but you're your own person. Funny an' sweet an' smart. There ain't a thing wrong with ya, far as I can see."

"But anyway, do you have any summer plans?"
no subject
There was a shrug, "Workin' mostly I guess. Ain't really got any major plans."

He noticed the band (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2njPCAFqVWM&feature=related). "I'm not tipping you." he told them. "Though I do have beer....and apparently a sombrero." Well, better than the last hat.

(duuuuude, there's... just no words for that. my eyes are bleeding now. or is it my ears? I can't tell anymore. aahhhhhh! *g*)

[Fun with youtube:)]

"Dunno," he shrugged. "Been here since I got here. Heck, I think the little buggers followed me from my house."
Which... was kind of creepy actually.

The band struck up a new tune (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKD6k_VRH5o&feature=related).

Murdock eyed the band again. Oh good lord.
(me fixed! I be a silly dunderhead, ooop)
