Today, Nathan was not a lemming, he hadn't seen his child kidnapped, and he had a good-sized cup of coffee steaming happily on his desk without him even asking about it. The day wasn't, ergo, half-bad.

He was going to take that as a good reason to relax. Of course, for Cable, relaxing was still inherently an act of paranoia (because most things he did were, and justifiably so) but at least it was a relaxed one.

He leaned back in his chair with the mug and watched Jan mess around with a plush toy in her chair. Yes, she was wearing a I Love New York baby tee.

Hush.

Cabot and Associates now has three employees: Turtle Wexler (Mondays), Fiona Post (Tuesdays), and Jennifer Walters (Thursdays). Alex herself will open on Wednesdays.
