Atlas Gym, Wednesday, 5/13
Tyler hadn't been in the best frame of mind since he watched the girl switch out during Fight Club Sunday. It had been familiar and strange all at once, and he was pretty sure there was laughter in the back of his head at how much it all bothered him. Since he was Tyler, that meant he wasn't sleeping, he was surviving on caffeine and microwave burritos, and just walking past the Perk made him want to go on a rant about how much he hated fucking corporate coffee bars.
He tried a yoga class, right when he got to work. He went to yoga mostly because the karate guy wasn't in yet and he couldn't deal with lifting one more weight, but, to his surprise, it kind of helped. Something about all that time in child's pose really did clear his aura or whatever shit you wanted to call it. By the time midmorning rolled around, he was alertly moving about the gym, restocking the magazine rack and even fluffing a few towels.
Atlas Gym was open.
