Biff was behind the counter making origami cranes out of a yoga magazine.

Yeah, probably better not to ask.

"Afternoon, Biff!"

And, of course Daisy was going to ask.

"When you make them out of the magazines like that, do you ever find that certain bits of the cranes are made out of something wholly inappropriate?"

"Yep," Biff said, sounding pleased. "And look at this one! There's no way someone can be this bendy in real life." He handed over a crane with a particularly insane series of body parts pointing at each other.

Daisy failed to look the crane over from different angles without laughing three seconds into trying. "If they could," she said, "colour me impressed. And either call a doctor or a priest, as they'll be needing one or the other."

"Definitely," Biff agreed. "I once had to break Josh out of a wine jug. He took his yoga training a little seriously."

Daisy looked thoughtful a moment, before her head tilted slightly to the side.

"How big of a wine jug are we talking, here?"

"Not one that would look like it could fit a guy in, for sure," Biff said, smiling.

Daisy let out a long whistle, shaking her head. And then she asked the important question: "What was he doing in there in the first place?"

"You know, I never asked," Biff admitted. "I think he just wanted to see if he could fit."

"And, what do you know," Daisy chuckled, "he actually did."

"It was a time before television," Biff said. "We had to make our own fun."

"In wine jugs," said Daisy, bobbing her head in a nod that clearly stated that she couldn't believe she didn't make the connection earlier.

"They had to get empty somehow," Biff replied with a little laugh.

"And that probably did make things significantly more entertaining that before..."

"And I was easily amused to start with," Biff said, nodding.

"And helpful, as well," Daisy added. "Should I ever get stuck in a wine jug, I'll know there's at least someone who can help get me out of it."

"First I'll take pictures," Biff warned.

"And then fold them up into little origami cranes? Daisy asked, picking one up for another morbidly curious inspection.

"Nah," Biff decided. "I don't have that many pictures of you."

"And how nice to know that the ones you will have will be of me in a jar."

"It will remind me of how bendy you are," Biff said with an evil grin.

Daisy snorted. "Well, there is that. As if you'd really need reminding, anyway."

Biff looked oh so sad. "It's been forever," he said.

"Forever, huh?" Daisy laughed. "Think maybe we should fix that, or do you want to keep up the streak you've got going?"

"Fix that," Biff said far too hastily.

"Well, since you gave it so much thought...we should do something," she nodded. "Soon. To fix that."

"I gave it a lot of thought before you came in," Biff claimed. "I said, 'self, we should make room in ye old social calendar for some quality time with Daisy.' And then I sang some really excellent mood music to myself."

"Awwwww," said Daisy, "no, you didn't."

The effort to not laugh required a hand to Daisy's mouth and a little clearing of her throat.

And then she wondered why she was bothering trying not to laugh and just did.

"That's excellent mood music," said Daisy, approvingly. "No wonder you're eager."

"There might have been some fantastic dance moves, too," Biff bragged. "But those you don't get to see."

That was definitely getting a pout. "Not at all?"

"They are better performed in the nude," he said.

They weren't.

Yeah, even Daisy could figure that one, but that still didn't seem to stop her from saying, "Well, then, there you go. I'll just have to come of and see them at their best."

"I might even throw some toast in to sweeten the deal," he said, waggling his eyebrows.

"Oh, Biff," said Daisy, feigning breathlessness. "You know all my weaknesses."

He grinned. "I don't have a tattoo or anything," he teased, "but I try."

"And, see, you don't even need the tattoo," said Daisy. "You know, I was thinking of getting one with your name on it, too. It'd go right on my bum," she pointed out the spot, "so it's not just a tribute, but a suggestion as well."

Biff burst out laughing. "Always thinking, aren't you?"

"There's a pretty good brain underneath all this pretty," said Daisy. "Would be a shame to let it go to waste."
