Trooper Station; Monday [ 06/01 ].
Daisy knew she couldn't even blame Ralph for the scores of paperwork in the office today. Apparently, it wasn't enough putting in a full day and then some of active duty; she got back and had piles of paperwork to file for it, too. She'd happily do it, though. Fairly happily, anyway, because it sure beat out how she had it in London, where she got known of the active jobs, yet all of the paperwork.
Plus, there was plenty of coffee.

Not that he had one worth bringing since his baby was blown up, but...
So, still lugging around his bags, Tony stood in the lobby of the police station and manfully resisted the urge to whistle the theme from The Andy Griffith Show. "Hello?"

Oh, god he was in

Might as well get right to the point on these things, really, and if DiNozzo thought she was crazy, well, then, won't he feel silly one day?

She quirked an eyebrow over at DiNozzo as she held out a folder.

Yeah, no.
He shuffled his bags on over and just flopped down in the chair. Nowhere near the right amount of tilt to put his feet up on the desk. "Detective Constable, you said?"

It wasn't until he marched through the door and saw that familiar head that he started rolling his eyes.
"DiNozzo!" he shouted.

"Boss! I knew you wouldn't let me down! Did you call in some favors?" God, he hoped it wasn't any from Fornell. He in no way wanted to owe the FBI.

"Let you down, DiNozzo?" He asked with a tone that clearly indicated his irritation. "Don't you have a team you should be running?"

"I felt fine until you showed up," Gibbs grumbled as he tossed his paperwork on the desk. "What the hell are you doing here? Did the director send you here to check up on me?"
Jenny was so getting reamed for this later. And not in the fun way.
