Priestly was trying his best to read over the play and figure out who the hell Berto was, just like Geoffrey had told him too.

He just kept getting . . . distracted.

Man, he'd never realized how suggestive subs could be. And the tables just made perfect places for --

And no, he's not checking the sturdiness of the tables as he cleans them off. . . .

"Omigod, I've missed you this week," she exclaimed.

Priestly just kind of gave her a long, very happy stare.

God, he loved her outfits.

Claudia grinned back at him as she walked closer. "Hi."

"Hi," Priestly said back, eyes still firmly on her . . . shirt. "You have the best outfits."

Her smile turned a little coy. "Oh, this old thing?"

Like she hadn't changed into it specifically before coming to the diner.

Any other day, and Priestly woulda been glad to know his apron was loose enough to mostly mask his reaction to "that old thing".

Today he didn't even think about it.

"It's . . . awesome."

Verbal skills weren't his specialty, today.

She leaned over the counter toward him, practically demanding a kiss. "Thank you."

Oh, he was more than happy to oblige with the kissage. "Just call 'em like I see 'em."

The dishwasher shouted for them to "get a room". Priestly debated whether the storage closet would work.

Claudia nibbled a little on Priestly's lower lip. This was a fantastic idea. She was so glad she'd thought of it, or something. "First good idea they've ever had," she said with a little giggle.

"Mmm. Totally." Though he also knew that table in the corner was pretty damned sturdy. "Closet?"

"Perfect," Claudia said. "That way they can't offer advice."

"They'd probably suck at it," Priestly agreed. He reached for Claudia's hand to lead her towards the back.

Priestly has no idea how those pin-up post cards got there. No, really. . . .

I have the stupid Subway jingle in my head now.
