Prince Edward was very upset for his friends. True love need not be denied by anger or sleeping outside on a deck in order to ignore it. Kissing one's sister was still wrong, but Edward would not dwell on the negativity. Perhaps he should have sung last evening and made Hannibal feel better. Next time he would not hesitate.

He sighed and rested his head against his hand. Ahhh, love. It was fickle at times, was it not?

But not for him. Oh no. His true love was amazing!

Irulan entered Luke's and smiled at the young man by the counter. "Good morning."

He returned her smile cheerfullyl. "Greetings, my lady!"

"Greetings," she returned, Irulan suspected he was nobility of some kind. He had the bearing of one. "I would very much like coffee and if you have it, pancakes."

"Pancakes!" he replied with an excited gasp. "They sound delicious!" Prince Edward had no idea what a pancake was, but cake of any kind was wonderful, ah-hah! "I shall put this order in at once!"

He bounded back to the cook, gave over the order, and bounded back. The coffee he took care of himself and set a steaming mug upon the counter before her.

"I am Prince Edward of Andalasia. Might I have the pleasure of knowing who you are?"

My, but he was an excitable boy. Irulan suppressed a smile and reached for the coffee.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Prince Edward," she said and answered, "I am the Princess Irulan Corrino-Atreides of Arrakis."

His gasp was loud, his excitement high. Edward leapt over the counter effortlessly and dropped to a knee before her, extending his hand gallantly.

"Princess of Arrakis! It is a true honor, my lady!" Ah, but how lovely to meet another princess!

Her hand twitched to where her knife was supposed to lay and relaxed. She was relaxed and perplexed.

"Ah, thank you," she said a little unsure, "but you may call me Irulan. I do not require the full title. Also, I'm fairly certain Princess of Arrakis refers to my stepdaughter."

Standing slowly, he tilted his head, brows raised. "Is she here as well? Perhaps I know her."

"Perhaps," Irulan allowed, for someone of royal lineage he was very... expressive. "Do you know a Professor Atreides?"

"Not personally, no. But I am involved now in a club she co-hosts with Professor Durden," he replied, sitting on a stool. "Leto is your stepson then?"

"The Fight Club?" She guessed, she followed his lead and sat on a nearby stool. "Yes, Leto is my stepson. Are you and Leto classmates?"

"Yes, that is it," he replied, smiling. "We are not in classes together, no. But I've seen him around and of course hear of him often through my friend, Dinah. Also is name comes up rather often on the radio broadcast. Thing." He still wasn't sure how that worked.

Ready, her order was brought out and placed on the counter before her with several flavors of syrup. Edward was quite intrigued, really.

"He often comes up in the radio?" Irulan asked, it must be because Leto was very sociable. She smiled, "I know Dinah, I met her yesterday. She is a very lovely girl. Tell me, Edward, what brings you to Fandom?"

"She is lovely indeed," he agreed. But then his features darkened as he frowned at the explanation he gave her, replying low: "My evil step-mother, Queen Narissa, pushed my one true love down a magical well on the morning of our wedding, preventing the joyous occassion." Sigh. "I sought to rescue my fair maiden and dove in after her when I learned of the foul deed. But alas, I ended up here, and have yet to find her."

Edward did smile, however. "It truly is for the best, you see, as I have a new one true love. Her name is Adora and she is also a princess. Do you know her perchance?"
