Priestly had been feeling slightly . . . off all week, and had spent most of his time hiding in his dorm room hanging out with Ramone because of it.

So when the kitchen guys started in on their usual shtick, he barely did more than roll his eyes and continue about his business.

"What's he doing?" muttered the dishwasher.

The cook peered at him. "He's trying to fake us out."

"That sneaky little monkey."

I'm sitting in the service area of my dealership three hours before I normally get up in the morning. I got here before the mechanics did. The seats absolutely suck for taking a nap, and I might have as much as another hour and a half before I find out if I can get my car back today or if I have to give them my first born to get it fixed. . . .
