El Loco Burrito, Friday Evening
Leda was back to her normal self now, having slept most of the day recovering from her detox of the night before. She was dressed for a date which for her tonight meant biker pants, a black tank top and a red hoodie over it. The clothes looked well worn, but clean and looked great on her. She was even wearing a bit of make-up, some eye shadow and lipstick that shimmered when the light hit it just right. Yay magic products!
[Leda is here for Karla, but El Burrito is open for all your Mexican food needs. Karla I figure since you picked the movie, you can put that post up?]

But that wouldn't help anything. In fact, it would only make her grumpier when she ran out of alcohol. And if anything could jolly her out of her rotten mood, it was probably spending time with Leda. So here she was, dressed in a new outfit she'd picked out with Emma--complete with push-up bra, Mother Night those contraptions were complicated--actually a bit pleased with the butterflies that had taken up residence in her stomach. At least nervousness over her first real date was pushing away some of the depression that had dogged her feet all day.

"Karla, hey you look awesome." she smiled, when she saw her.

But she couldn't keep up the teasing long. "She lacked your sparkle, your energy. She...made me sad, in a way. Like I was watching you in a cage that you were accepting, instead of fighting against."

She called in the single rose she'd bought from the flower shop on her way down. "This is for the Leda with spirit," she said, handing it over.

She found a little more energy to add to her smile. "Besides I am anxious to learn about this food. It certainly smells tasty. Perhaps eating a bit will remind my stomach what it's supposed to be doing."

Karla cautiously bit into the chimichanga. A surprised smile crossed her face. "This is really tasty!" she said.
