Joan was on time for work and got all of the flowers watered and trimmed and whatnot.

But she was mostly worried about Penelope. She just wished there was something she could do to help her friend.

"Greetings!" Edward exclaimed boisterously as he stepped into the flower shop. His mood ever cheerful.

"Hi," Joan said, giving him a smile. "Can I help you with something today?"

"Ah, but I certainly hope so, my lady! I wish for my true love to have a beautiful bouquet of flowers!"

"Well, then you've certainly come to the right place," Joan said. "Now if you wanted her to have a beautiful gown I couldn't help you."

He grinned. "The woodland creatures keep her in fine fashion! I've not to think upon her gowns. No, it is flowers I wish her to have! A room full of flowers! As lovely as a fresh morning meadow."

Joan couldn't help but grin at the enthusiasm. "Then we'll get you a room full of flowers. Did you have anything specific in mind?"

"Hm," he was thinking. The process lasted two seconds. "Roses?" It was the only flower he could name.

"Roses are kind of expensive," Joan pointed out.

She grabbed a binder and started flipping through it. "Ooooh! The first is glorious! And bright! I shall like those to be sent to her, yes! Ahhhh, but she will love them!"

Joan grinned. "Just the one arrangement then?"

"I would like five arrangements delivered to her!"

"Five of the same?" Joan asked, reaching for an order form (http://loverlyviolets.livejournal.com/554.html).

"Yes!" They were beautiful and he wished Adora to be surrounded by them!

He filled out the order form easily enough and returned it.

"What woodland creature will be delivering them, might I ask?"

Joan tilted her head. "Um... I think my boss does the deliveries. And she's not a woodland creature."

"Oh," he replied. "Very well! Thank you, my lady, for generous help!" He put what he hoped was enough money on the counter.

It was actually a little more than necessary and Joan gave him change. "I'm sure your lady will love them."

"Thank you," he blushed, slightly. "Have a glorious day!" The change went into his coin purse and he whipped around with a dramatic flourish, singing as he exited the shop.
