The Park; Early Friday Evening [ 07/10 ].
Class had gone well and so Minsc was in a good mood and contemplating good things like buttkicking and gnoll cleaving and mugs of moderately strong ale as he and Boo strolled around the park and tried to decide what to do with the evening ahead of them. There were so many options! One might involve some exciting fighting, which class had certainly gotten him in the mood for, or it might involve drinking, which was always entertaining, or, why, he might even be feeling adventurous enough to brave trying to see Lady Wilhelmina today or this weekend. Which would be, really, the epitome of bravery.
Boundless choices!
Unfortunately, they would have to wait at this precise moment...
"Boo! No! You must leave the ducks alone! What have they done to you? This is not honourable conduct, Boo!"
Sigh.
"Hamsters..."
[[ I am going to be trapped at work shortly, but I'm having a crap ass day and needed some Minsc crack STAT. OPEN! ]]

And Boo.
"...what is Boo up to?" she asked, approaching the berserker.

"Lady Wilhelmina!" he said. "Hullo! I think one of the ducks insulted his mother, you see..."
This apparently meant that a very exciting chase was in occurrence at the moment. Meaning Boo crept a little forward in the grass a little, the duck squacked and shifted forward, they sat there for a bit, and then repeated the actions.

"Finished at the clinic, are you, my lady?" he asked in an attempt to make conversation, ignoring common sense once again, because common sense told him he was probably better off avoiding it.

"Boo and I were actually thinking of going to see you there," Minsc admitted, "but we found ourselves curiously without any injury today. So we got to thinking instead about fixing that."

And then he fell into a little bit of an awkwardness, feeling like he should say something more, but not knowing what it should be.
"Errr. How've you been?"
no subject
There wasn't a real good way to bring that up.

Although that did do a good job of reminding Minsc that, while he thought he was feeling a little awkward a second ago, it could still get....awkwarder.
And there probably wasn't a really good way to ask what Minsc was about to ask, but he asked it anyway.
"Well, why'd you do that?"

Boo inched a little forward after the duck.
"....that's a good reason." Though he sounded a little unconvinced. Not because of Lady Wilhelmina's answer. Just....in general. Or simply over something definitely unspoken.

She was keeping her phrases short, to avoid anything being read into them.

"...what did you intend to see me about?" She asked with a mix of curiosity and hope.

But, alas, he just continued to scoot boringly after the duck.
"...I...err...uh."
Eloquent, Minsc.
He shrugged. "Been a while, that's all! Had to make sure you were still aliv--, errr....undead in this case, I guess."
Smooooooooooth.

"That's right!" Minsc agreed, tentatively bright. "You are still very, very undead!"
