Loki woke up in a productive mood this morning. Or maybe Loki still had the fear of the plant and wanted to both do something that could be considered exercise and would be helpful to the environment of the building.

So, he was outside, shirt off and baseball cap keeping his hair off his forehead while he did some random landscaping work. He was going to leave the fucking mowing to NPC Landscaping but he could do things like mulching, watering, and digging. It was both productive and helpful to a body that didn't fucking need exercise.

Still, he feared that damn plant. And if he worked for a few hours, he figured he could knock off early and hit the pool. It didn't seem like too bad a plan.

"Perhaps I was merely commenting on your lawn," Mina said, equally pretending to be innocent.

"I'm going to choose to believe I'm right," he said, exaggerated haughtiness in his tone, "because it makes me feel better about myself."

"Heaven knows, normally you have such a horrible opinion of yourself," Mina joked.

"Hey, Heaven does know," he said and laughed. "You should ask some other angels about my low self esteem. Such an insecure guy, that's me."

"Obviously, I shall have to flatter you more," Mina said. "Within reason, of course."

"I think it would be beneficial," he said as solemnly as he could even while he was smiling. "And appreciated."

"And what would I gain out of such an arrangement, I wonder," Mina added.

"Nice scenery!" Loki said, laughing.

"Perhaps another time," Mina said. "It would be more sensible to have, say, Daisy or even Mary to help pass the time on such a day."

"I barely know Mary," he said but he couldn't argue about Daisy. "And you saying you wouldn't enjoy watching me work?"

"No, merely that it would be an experience better shared," Mina said. "Light conversation, you know."

"I'll have to set up a time to do this when more people aren't going to work," he laughed.

"You speak as if you wouldn't enjoy it thoroughly, sir," Mina said.

"Oh, I would," he said and laughed again. "Rest assured I would but I'd wanna put on a good show too!"

"Well, we shall only see how good a show you put on if you dare do it," Mina said. "The ball, as I believe they say, is in your court."

"Nice use of slang," he complimented. "Very good. The ball is in my court. I'll be sure to make it a slam fucking dunk."
