After a very inspiring class (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/2170654.html), Minsc was feeling...well, inspired! And very light on his feet and like singing some more, about boats or even, really, about flowers, as he came into the flower shop and felt himself unable to hold it back (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skU-jBFzXl0).

Dinah eyes had gone wide there for a second, but despite a "meep" sang back:

Relieved, although still weirded out, Dinah said, "Okay! We can do that! Because--"

Dinah had no idea where that came from. Seriously. Although by now she was holding out roses, violets, buttercups, orchids and every other flower that would possibly impress a nice lady for Sir Minsc.

"Well, now!" Minsc chuckled, "that's an easy choice, Lady Dinah!"

"Totally!" Dinah was actually kind of enjoying this, in a completely-weirded-out way, so she started picking out the best red and gold roses she could find, happily singing:

"...actually, no, cash, I don't have a credit card. And no vase will be fine, Lady Dinah. Maybe just a pretty bow."

"Tie a yellow ribbon 'round the old oak treeeeeee... Sure thing!" And Dinah found one to tie around the flowers, then beamed at him. "Good luck! I hope she likes it! So long, farewell, auf wiedersehn good byeeeee--"

Minsc was just about to point out to Lady Dinah, that, no, he wanted it tied around the flowers, not the oak tree, but then she got it, so there wasn't a lot of point to it, so he didn't.

Dinah had to stop and think, then said, "No. Several verses of K.T. Tunstall, but not the whole thing. Thank god. That would take a while. And my throat would hurt. I was enjoying it until it got too personal, actually."

Dinah opened her mouth, music swirled in her head, and-- She closed her mouth. And shrugged. Probably because too many thoughts = too many soundtracks, and her mouth didn't wnat to pick. Which gave her a chance to sneak out of it. She grinned at Leda.
