The Gig, Friday [7/17]

It took some effort, considering that the horses and goats had to be unloaded from the trailer and walked across the causeway and through town, but eventually the whole group arrived at The Gig. Dani put the mare and colt in the paddock while the goats explored the grounds. Dani was trying to keep an eye on them while checking the mare and colt's condition and mentally debating where to add an extra fenced pen for the goats.

Maybe, once all the rest of the daily chores were taken care of, Dani might just head up to the hayloft and take a little nap. It had been a long day already.

Because there are baby goats to squeal over! And a baby colt! Today's probably one of the few chances you may get to see them before Dani starts charging for her petting zoo.

The Gig is getting a petting zoo for anyone who wants to oooh and ahhh over baby animals! It's also a kid-friendly activity for those weekends. The details are still being worked out, but if anyone wants to suggest some baby animals, go ahead. I ran with the idea after Gmail gave me an ad for yearlings for sale, but totally blanked on what animals to use after baby horses and goats.
