Worf was back to his usual post behind the counter and glaring at any customers who came in to shop for weaponry.

Actually he was just glaring at everyone but since most people came in to look at the guns he just ended up glaring at them.

"Worf," Cable greeted, as he came down pulled in by the power of the Askani motto in the OOC with a box.

And a dog.

"Sir," Worf replied in return as he eyed the box, "I would like to apologize for my recent absence. I had transformed last week and the week before I..."

He paused for a minute to adjust his posture as he hated to admit this.

"I watched the view, as per your instructions."

"Fascinating, isn't it?" Cable asked, setting his box down... on top of one of the gun cases.

"All it was were woman sitting around and talking over each other," Worf replied. "However I found I could not stop watching."

"It's a good platform for voicing the broad spectrum of opinion," Cable provided, "Especially for women..."

"And you watch for that reason?" Worf asked

"It was better when Rosie was on it," Cable offered, "She was full of spirit. Hmm..." He opened up the box.

"I shall have to take your word for it," Worf replied. "May I ask what the box is for?"

Cable didn't answer him. He began to unpack it, however.

That was an awful lot of throwing stars. "Sure."

Worf almost smiled in response. "What is the box for? Other than storing weapons."

"Storing more weapons," Cable said, matter of factly, and put it back down to the floor once he was through. Then he opened up the case.

Worf nodded. "Do you need any assistance?"

Cable glanced over his shoulder. "You have a particular weapon of your own, don't you?"

"A bat'leth," Worf replied with a nod. "It's been in my family for generations."

"Is it intrinsic to your family, or your culture?"

This was Cable, making small talk as he stacked the throwing stars where they needed to go.

"Very much so," Worf answered.

"Both, then."

"Correct," Worf replied.

"Worf," Cable said, looking away from the case, "That's a prompt to talk about it."

Worf shrugged. "The bat'leth itself was said to be made from a lock of Khaless's hair that he cut from his head. He then dropped it into the lava of the Kri'stak volcano, then plunged the burning lock into the Lake of Lusor and twisted it into a blade. After forging the weapon, he used it to fight the tyrant Molor, and then gave it its name which means 'Sword of Honor'."
