Our Lady of Fandom, Wednesday

Castiel had an appointment with Chuck Bass to hear confession. As this was not actually something Castiel had experience with, he'd spent much of the day before preparing, looking up what traditions mankind had brought to the act, wondering just what the heck they thought saying any number of "Hail Mary"s was supposed to do for them, and generally just being baffled by human organized religion in general.

He'd forgotten to check on the actual physical location, however. And the left confessional was still leaking.

Well. Perhaps Chuck wouldn't notice?

[ooc: Open! And hey, let's go with contents of a confession around here being NFB. Though the actual showing up at the church is totally free game. . . .]

The more Chuck thought about this, the more he was thinking it was a bad idea but, then again, bad ideas had never stopped him from doing something before. It's not like confessing a few sins was going to kill him, right? ...Right?

He didn't catch on fire when he walked into the church so he considered that a win so far. And Sam said he was going to be struck by lightning, pshaw.

"Like, the box thing?" Chuck asked. "Does that make it more special or something?"

[identity profile] rocksthescarf.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 05:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Every other time Chuck had done this he had been in a bedroom so ritual wasn't really a problem. But he shrugged anyway, figuring he'd be more open if he couldn't see all the Jesus stuff around.

"Sure, let's do the box thing," he said. "Why mess with tradition?"

[identity profile] rocksthescarf.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Chuck resisted the urge to eyeroll at the dramatics and picked a confessional at random and went in.

"Is it always supposed to be this gross in here or do you just hate me?"

[identity profile] rocksthescarf.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 05:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Chuck narrowed his eyes little at the remark and wondered how angels got that bitchy. "I'll survive in here."

Dean was taking his brother the puppy for a walk and decided on impulse to check in on his friendly neighborhood angel.

He wandered into the church, Sammy at his heels.

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 06:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Sam barked in acknowledgement. "Guess being an angel is a good background for dealing with all the weird that goes on around here, huh?" Dean observed.

[identity profile] saltandammo.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Dean shrugged. "Beats the hell out of me. It just happens every now and then. To me too, cept I seem to turn into a wolf. Well the first time it was because I'd pissed off the interim principal when my step mom was on maternity leave, but the second time... I just woke up wolfy one day. Sammy just wakes up a puppy sometimes. Kinda how like we wake up kids sometimes. Or girls."

"Yeah." Dean grinned. "Zoe Washburn. Well Winchester now. She's the principal of the school. She and Dad hit it off when he came to teach here and keep an eye on us. Like really hit it off, as in Sammy and I have a baby sister now hitting it off. And then they got married. So.. stepmom."

Sometime later in the day, Morgan made his way to the church wheeling over a large pane of glass very carefully.

What? They'd gotten interrupted. He was just glad it hadn't rained.

Not wanting to bother Castiel, he had brought his own tools and started in on the job.

[identity profile] bau-beefcake.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
"Nosy," was all he said as he checked the putty. Since they'd started putting it in the other day, he'd had to remove it, rekneed it, and put it back in again but that was all right. He had more.

"Besides, I haven't lifted anything yet."

[identity profile] bau-beefcake.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Morgan raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything else.

"All right, wing man," he said as he stepped back, pointing at the pane of glass, "you wanna put that in there for me?"

He'd cut it pretty carefully, so hopefully this should go easily enough.

[identity profile] bau-beefcake.livejournal.com 2009-07-22 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
"I think he enjoyed it more than I did," he admitted as he pulled out the putty and the glazier's points.

"My man can eat though, if you don't mind me saying. Think he put away half of the diner the other night."

Morgan's eyes flicked over to the folder he'd brought with him, once he'd been able to get his printer to behave.

"I, uh, brought something over for him to read. He asked about something and my friend took care of it. It's over there if you wanna take it once we're done here."
