Our Lady of Fandom, Wednesday
Castiel had an appointment with Chuck Bass to hear confession. As this was not actually something Castiel had experience with, he'd spent much of the day before preparing, looking up what traditions mankind had brought to the act, wondering just what the heck they thought saying any number of "Hail Mary"s was supposed to do for them, and generally just being baffled by human organized religion in general.
He'd forgotten to check on the actual physical location, however. And the left confessional was still leaking.
Well. Perhaps Chuck wouldn't notice?
[ooc: Open! And hey, let's go with contents of a confession around here being NFB. Though the actual showing up at the church is totally free game. . . .]

He didn't catch on fire when he walked into the church so he considered that a win so far. And Sam said he was going to be struck by lightning, pshaw.
no subject
Or was he thinking it was some sort of automatic alarm system?
That might be something to consider.
He nodded to Chuck. "Would you prefer to use the traditional confessionals for this?"

"Sure, let's do the box thing," he said. "Why mess with tradition?"
no subject
He wondered if he should warn him about the leak.
Nah.

"Is it always supposed to be this gross in here or do you just hate me?"
no subject
"Perhaps it's a visual representation of the state of your soul."
He might be teasing. Maybe.
"You may try the other one if you'd prefer."

He wandered into the church, Sammy at his heels.
no subject
"Dean." He glanced down at the puppy. "Sam."
Whether he just knew it, or he'd been listening to the radio and remembered Dean mentioning his brother being a puppy, the world may never know.

"You have a step-mother?"
And yes, that was the strangest part of Dean's explanation.

This island was really throwing Castiel for a loop.

What? They'd gotten interrupted. He was just glad it hadn't rained.
Not wanting to bother Castiel, he had brought his own tools and started in on the job.

He appeared next to Morgan, observing his work.
"I believe we agreed I would do the lifting."
no subject
"Besides, I haven't lifted anything yet."

"All right, wing man," he said as he stepped back, pointing at the pane of glass, "you wanna put that in there for me?"
He'd cut it pretty carefully, so hopefully this should go easily enough.
no subject
"You enjoyed your talk with my vessel?"
no subject
"My man can eat though, if you don't mind me saying. Think he put away half of the diner the other night."
Morgan's eyes flicked over to the folder he'd brought with him, once he'd been able to get his printer to behave.
"I, uh, brought something over for him to read. He asked about something and my friend took care of it. It's over there if you wanna take it once we're done here."
no subject
Traumatized, most likely, but physically fine.
