Lindsay was bored out her mind and now hasseling friends back home in San Francisco for random bits of news. So far she's heard back that her ex-husband and his new wife are perfectly happy (Damn it), Claire's husband's paralysis was getting worse (Damn it), Jill was still single and "loving it" (not really a shock there) and Cindy had been thrown in jail three times in the last two months for sneaking into a crimes scene only to be released a few hours later with a stern warning (typical really).

This all led to a bunch of e-mails going back and forth between Cindy, Jill and Lindsay about how Lindsay needed to get on instant messaging and how much Lindsay was so not going to do that.

Clearly a lot of work was going to be accomplished today. Only not.
