Peyton had spent yesterday and last night holed up in her room in the dorms so she didn't have to deal with anyone. She'd pulled herself together today enough to come into work only to crumple into tears again at the newly delivered box of Friends with Benefit CDs that had been delivered for the store's inventory.
She opened one of the CDs and put it on repeat, then made herself go about her daily tasks at the store. No matter how much of a mess she was, she had work to do.
Groovy Tunes was open and the CDs were available for anyone who wanted one.
