Dite's Decadent Delights, Tuesday
Conversations with Hurley, Joan, and Karla had Raven feeling somewhat better about what had happened in the Other Fandom, but she still had issues with confidence and guilt that needed to be worked out, and she was still giving serious thought to hiding from Professor Skywalker forever. She hardly wanted to go to work, but she had a responsibility. She just wasn't going to look at anything today. Instead, she would just meditate and try to rebuild her shields.
Decadent Delights was open.

"Um, hello?" He didn't want to disturb the girl working, but there was no way he was browsing in this place if he didn't have to.

"Hello," she said. "May I help you?"

"Come with me," she said, leading Griff to a display of novelty items. Then more faintly, she added, "Do you want a complete woman shape, or just the...?" Oh, she was not going to say it.

...not that sort of hole.
"Uh, n-no, the whole thing is probably best." Looking straight ahead, he followed her to the display.

"Is there a particular color light you would like?" she asked. "I think it comes in white, red, blue, purple, and hot pink." She picked up a box to show him what the light looked like, then realized she had grabbed the wrong box from the shelf. This nightlight wasn't woman-shaped. It wasn't man-shaped, either. Well, it was shaped like part of a man. She dropped it like it had burned her hands, blushing furiously.

There was, unfortunately, one more question she had to ask, unless she was lucky enough that a meteorite would come crashing through the roof at this very second. No? "There are two...styles," she said, selecting one of each of the correct boxes this time. "Which would you prefer?" One was of a female form that would lean forward from the outlet, emphasizing her glowing...orbs. The other was much less demure and a bit more...spread out.

"This one's fine!" Oh lord, his eyes opened and showed him the glowing orbs that would be staring at him for eternity.

Next time, he would do this online.

"Enjoy your purchase," Raven said, sliding the bag across the counter.

She remained quite for now, really hoping Sam wouldn't need any help. Or maybe he was looking for some sort of strange object that he needed to help slay a demon. Other than herself, of course. She couldn't think of anything that might fit that description, but she was no hunter, so it could be possible, right?

He so should have just shopped on the internet.

"We have many different types," Raven said, resigned to awkward questions again. "Did you want one that is flavored, or one that provides enhanced sensations?" That meteorite was never going to come, was it?

She was only reciting the product information. She had no idea if they worked as claimed, but if Aphrodite kept them in stock, they had to work well.

Sam's face burned bright red as he looked at the extra items. "I'll take the strawberry," he said, and really, if he got any quieter, she wouldn't be able to hear him. "And, um, I'll pay the extra five dollars too."

Oh yes, that had gone so well.
