Something funny was going happening on the second floor, where the little people who asked about hourly rated had taken a block of rooms. Mary had noticed an awful lot of non-guests waiting in line outside that group of rooms. She didn't want to make any unfounded accusations, especially when the group was paying in cash, so she sent Gunther upstairs with a room service cart to try and investigate.

He didn't come back for hours, and when he did, he said nothing odd was going on. He also asked for a cash advance on this week's paycheck.
