Dite's Decadent Delights, Monday

There were still no fish.

Not that Aphrodite cared. She had turned one of the easy chairs into a deck chair and was stretched out, sunbathing under the skylight, a tiny pink bikini clinging to all the right places. Sunglasses on, smiling, the goddess of love was as ready for a quiet Monday afternoon.

Until the phone rang.

Without opening her eyes, she floated the phone over from the counter, then flipped it open. Her voice was low and sultry as she answered. "Dite's Decadent Delights. What can I do for you today?"

Moments later her eyes popped open. "He what?"

She took off the sunglasses. "She did what?"

And then she sat up. "He did what?"

Suddenly she was up and pacing. "Okay, so let me get this straight. Ares has left South America in modern times to go back to stop Eva Duarte from getting together with General Peron so he can get the General to lead a revolution through all the Southern hemisphere instead of taking care of his ill wife?"

She listened, then sighed. "Well, Eva always was one for dramatics, so I'm not surprised she's falling for it. I better go do something before Ares changes history. Yes, Cupid, I know it's probably a trap, and no I won't fall for it. I just need to help nature along."

"Just be careful, Mom. He still comes looking for you once in a while."

"I'll be fine. Call you later, Cupie. Bye."

Closing the phone, she paced a few minutes before stopping and waving a hand, dressing herself in tight jeans and a fuschia t-shirt. "Well, I can't just show up, Ares will know. This will take some subtlety and undercover work." She nodded, tapping the phone against her chin.

Her gaze dropped absently onto the fishbowl, and she stared.

Suddenly she tilted her head. "There are no fish in the fishbowl." One eyebrow rose, then dropped and she shrugged.

There was suddenly so much to do, and the fish would have to wait.

(OOC: Open, like the big blue Montana skies. I'm afk for the next two hours, but will be back for the rest of the evening. Availability notice to follow.)
