The Gig, Friday [8/14]

Dani was not pleased. Ken Davis had dropped a number of interesting tidbits about life back home in California when he and Dani had dinner a few days ago. For one thing, he was pleased that Junior was dating a congressman's daughter. Dani knew that her brother was still in love with his old girlfriend, Kris, even though Ken didn't approve of the girl's background. She just hoped that Junior wouldn't make the same mistake Ken did with his first marriage.

But what had her even more upset was that Ken was going to be staying in Baltimore for a few more weeks. He claimed he was in negotiations to buy some new racing stock. Dani suspected that his ulterior motive was to try and get her to come home. That just was not going to happen.

The Gig was open. Hopefully Dani's scowl won't scare anyone off.

After first freaking out, then, satisfying some curiosity, Tully felt the need to go for a ride.
