Agnes puttered around the store a little grumpier than usual today. Today, the island was even MORE full than usual of girls who were prettier than her, and that was just depressing. Also, she had a nagging feeling that she ought to have been born a lesbian. But then again, that probably would just validate certain stereotypes about witches, and she couldn't be having with that, so maybe it was for the best that she wasn't.

At any rate, she moved all the women's clothing and jewelry to the front of the store in case any of the ex-boys wanted to feel pretty in something charmed and/or cursed.
