When Robin made her way into Caritas on Wednesday evening, she was fishing through her purse and not looking. "Yes, I'm here on a weekday, no you weren't prepared to deal with me, so you'd best just shut up and deal with it, and not whine all night."

When she looked up, she discovered that Tino was in the back room, and she'd been bitching to an empty bar.

lol, welcome to my summer. I think I've been pantsless 90% of the time.

"A little bird tells me that I need to catch up on my watching of 'Say Yes To The Dress' because of you." That was Deadpool-ese for 'EEEEEE! WEDDING!'

Yes, like a thirteen yeah old girl.

"Who told you?" she asked, smiling a bit and hiding her left hand under the bar. He could see it in a second.

"The only Mountie in town." A beat. "Wait, he still is, right?"

"As far as I know," she said agreeably. "It's kind of not a big deal."

It was totally a big deal.

Wade just shot her a Look about what kind of deal he thought this was.

It wasn't low on the scale.

Marshall came in the bar wearing a trench coat, dark sunglasses and a fake mustache.

Look, he was excited about Robin being engaged and wanted to squee but Lily and Barney were worried about it so he had to squee incognito in order to avoid getting the stink eye.

"Hey, Robin."

"Well, it's not!" she argued. "I'm not going to be Mrs. Fraser or anything. It's like, exactly how we are now. Except on paper."

Pause.

"And I have a really kickass ring," she added, because it was the kind of thing he'd care about. She held out her hand to show him.

"Did Lily kick you out or something?" she asked, tilting her head.

Look, who else would that be?

"...does that mean he'll be Mr. Scherbatsky?" It was all very modern and omg ring! "Ooooo! Can you lift it without straining yourself?"

"I don't know a Lily. But I'm sure she's awesome," Marshall said. "And I'm not Marshall. I'm...Michelle."

Stealth. Incarnate.

"Only barely. He'll be Benton Fraser and I'll be Robin Scherbatsky," she shrugged. "Again, not a big deal."

"Who said you were Marshall?" she asked curiously.

"Nobody did. I just get confused for that guy a lot," he said quickly. See? Still smooth.

"Sucks to have a girl's name, then," she said easily. "And if you were Marshall, I'd be able to talk to you about some wedding cakes I've been looking into."

Robin was crafty, you see.

"OH MY GOD I AM MARSHALL!" The craftiness worked, yes. Worked so well his fake mustache almost came off. "I am so excited for you, oh my god, and show me your ring and then tell me about the cake!"

What a girl.

"Does this mean no more wild parties with strippers?"

"I'm having a bachelorette party," she assured him. "You're invited."

She had to laugh, and held out her left hand. "It kind of kicks ass. And the cake hasn't been decided but I so kinda want the Ace of Cakes guy."

"Which'll be good since Benton is... Yeeeeah. Even if I get him strippers, you know how he'll react."
