It's Friday, there must be a Hope at Turtle & Canary.

Today was honestly no different, except for the fact that for once she wasn't behind the counter reading a magazine. No, today she was behind the counter reading a book. What? There's a difference! Even if Apu didn't seem to think so.

Today's Squishy flavors: Boredom, Burning, Purple.

Fred slid in, and eyed the Squishy machine.

"Thank god, you don't have it today," he said.

"... don't have what, exactly?" Hope asked, looking up. "Oh, hey, Fred."

"Grape Judas," Fred said. "Can't get enough of that shit. Except I shouldn't have any at all, now."

"Why's that?" Hope asked, tilting her head and looking at him.

"Diet," Fred said with a gruff harrumph.

"Doesn't mean you can't have any, just means you can't have as much," Hope reasoned, trying to be helpful.
