Pixie Dust, Thursday

It was good to be back. She'd missed last week's shift because she was off, in Edge, killing monsters and blackmailing her boss into a maybe-possibly-totally-not-a-date. One that wasn't going to happen for several months, if ever. Clearly, this meant she should find a hot outfit, ASAP.

And she needed more shoes. This store had such amazingly cute shoes ...

What the heck was Tully doing in here? He wouldn't be able to tell you beyond, random curiosity.

"Isn't that what employee discounts are for?" He looked around and decided to come clean. "I'm not sure. I'm over 40 and in a trendy clothing store. I'm guessing it's trendy." He had no clue really. Did people really wear this stuff?

Well some of it didn't look to bad, even to his aged eyes.

Get over yourself Mr. Mars. he imagined Cleopatra telling him. You don't get to talk about being old until you're at least 75.

"Fairly trendy," Elena said. "There are also some classics, in here. If it was all trendy, that'd be annoying. Sometimes you just want a basic tee and a nice, clean pair of jeans, right?"

That was Tully's usual mode of dress yes. "Most of the time actually. I'm not usually the type who dresses up. But, every now and then, you know? And can I just say, I'm glad that jeans have yet to go out of style."
