Dite's Decadent Delights, Saturday afternoon
There was confetti in the fish bowl.
Hercules, brand new kitty of the store, was pleased by this. He was currently attempting to scoop it out with his little paws, which were now wet and dripping over everything.
"Oh, no you don't. I think Dinah!kitty tried to teach you some bad manners." Aphrodite picked him up and moved him to her lap.
He sneezed and batted at a flower that was hanging off the back of the chair they were sitting in. They weren't the flowers 'Dite had bought on Thursday, and they weren't the only flowers in the store. Upon opening the door this morning she had found flowers, confetti, and even balloons and streamers. It looked like an aborted party of some sort and she wondered if the squirrels had been up to something.
Until she looked out the door and noticed more confetti, noisemakers on benches, balloons and streamers tied to everything, and flowers. Lots of flowers.
Aphrodite chalked it up to Fandom and cleaned up somewhat. She didn't, however, clear out the confetti or the balloons, which were all in the right spirit.
