Cabot and Associates - Tuesday, 9/15
Fiona was in a good mood, but she was also considering something that she didn't particularly want to consider.
The clinic.
Professor Atreides had asked her to check in with the clinic since her system was considerably less than normal and she'd promised that she would. But she had no interest in seeing the cots lined up as they had been during the terrible dream-coma incident and the idea of actually being the patient...
Someone was a little more perturbed by her experiences than she liked to admit.
That said, she'd promised, so she had to go, but she was wondering if she should ask someone to go with her and if so, who.

Re: Fiona
Yeah. That second part was the hard one.
Re: Fiona
"Can I help you with something?"
Re: Fiona
Apparently today was not the day for preambles.
Re: Fiona
Blink blink.
"Ooo kaay," she said with a very skeptical raise of an eyebrow.
"Why should I vote for you?"
Re: Fiona
Re: Fiona
Fiona was, in fact, rather easily sold.
"All right," she said with a lift of her head, "you have my vote."
Re: Fiona
"And with that out of the way: what's up?"
Re: Fiona
"Not much, really. Dreading a chore. Considering a weekend trip to see my brother. Trying not to be too distracted. Yourself?"
Re: Fiona
Re: Fiona
"I wish I could have signed up. Did a lot of people?"
Re: Fiona
Re: Fiona
Re: Fiona
She flashed a grin. "And just because you didn't sign up shouldn't stop you from coming too sometime."
Re: Fiona
"Uh, I would? But I'm pretty sure my Uncle Aaron would kill me."
...no, she isn't entirely kidding.
Re: Fiona
Re: Fiona
Most people didn't, anyway. At least, not more than once.
Re: Fiona
Re: Fiona
"I've used one before, though. Well, kind of."
The shotgun hadn't actually gotten much use, unless you counted making her feel better when she was in the presence of a crocodile the size of most people's houses 'use'.
Re: Fiona
Re: Fiona
With the desire to succeed, she knew that there was always a wary component to her family's feelings about her.
"Then again, Eliot and I managed all right when we were fighting gunpower. So I guess it's relative."
Re: Fiona
Re: Fiona
As long as she kept her hands off of the guns, she should be all right.
Re: Fiona
Re: Fiona
"I'll try and do that next time then."
