Aphrodite was late opening the shop today, after having lunch with Detective Reese at Cafe Fina.

She raised the blinds, flipped the sign to open, and then raised the blinds in the counseling room, leaving the door between that and the shop open. Sundays was the only day she wasn't taking appointments for counseling, but walk-ins were still welcome.

After a few minutes she stopped and looked around. Something was missing. Something small, orange, and fluffy.

"Hercules?"

When the kitten didn't answer, Aphrodite went searching, finally finding him sleeping in a box on the floor near the storage room. The box had been part of an order that had come in yesterday afternoon, and had been sealed when 'Dite left last night.

Now it was open, with a little, oily, orange kitten sleeping peacefully amid the scratched open and leaking tubes.

"Hercules! That was a brand new shipment of organic vegan personal lube!"

Now it was just . . . plastic and oil and sleeping cat. Ahh, the wonders of kitten hood.

Decadent Delights is open. Might not want to pick up the cat.
