Trooper Station; Monday [ 09/21 ].

It was definitely a computer day at the station for Daisy, which meant a lot of coffee, and it might have meant no time to hide the donuts again, replacing them with fruits and veggies, but, well, some things were just very important, including the health of her coworkers. If anything, she could always claim she was just keeping their astute detective skills honed by making them have to seek them out.

She had radio transcripts to type up, and she also wanted to compile a report on the little blue men of last week, which caused her to at least pause once or twice with a frown, realizing that she was writing reports about investigating little blue men, and she'd been doing things ridiculously similar for practically a year now.

She wasn't exactly sure this is what she'd wanted out of her career.

But, then again, she was thinking basically the same thing back in London without the little blue men, too.

[[ open station is open and with the standard boo Monday SP warning ]]

Dinah had the good coffee with her for Daisy, black, no extras, and smiled when she saw Daisy. "Hey, Detective Constable. Happy Monday."

"Yup! Just wanted to check in, bring you some of the right coffee," Dinah smiled, and offered it up. Working with Liir the day before had reminded her of their chat and she added, "And tell you I'm signing up to take the SAT after all, so, yay college recruiter you."

[awesome timing is awesome, of course it is. Yay SP have fun at work!]

"Ohhhh. Do you want me to drink it?" Dinah offered hopefully, because yes, she would be happy to suck down more caffiene.

"Ooo." Dinah blinked, then gamely said, "Sure. I don't think I've met him. I can do that." Because hey, Uncle Jim was a commissioner, so... A Sheriff couldn't be scarier, right?

Dinah fiddled with the lid to the coffee, then blurted, "Maybe I wanted to check on Hector Ramirez, but I know you would've called me if you found him." She just had to keep wondering, was all.

"No, no," Dinah protested, feeling embarrassed. "I know you've got stuff that has to come first, and that's an old case. I just wonder, is all. I trust you, I do. And I'm glad you had time to take it on at all."

"That's why you're at the other place too, you said. Right?" Dinah was now wanting coffee for herself. Hmmm. Maybe she'd got back to J,GoB and get some.

"Sure. Anyway, I just wanted to check in, say thanks and all." Dinah smiled. "And keep you posted, kinda."

Look, Fangirls for Justice had to keep in touch!
