"Hermione?" Dinah blinked at the list. Wow, that was not what she'd been expecting at all. But cool!

OOC question

I thought we weren't meta-ing Shakespeare anymore?

...if we aren't, it's news to me? Heck, I'll be pleased as punch but no one told me.

Not metaing has definitely been discussed. Let me see if I can hunt down any definitive conclusion.

I thought it had, but I can't find anything in either [livejournal.com profile] fandom_ooc or in the OOC roundups. So maybe I'm just crazy?

I emailed the mods to check so we'll see what they say.

Per the last Open Forum:

The general rule on Shakespeare has been that it doesn't need a meta name if there are no characters from that play in Fandom at the time. If a character later shows up and the player wants there to be a meta, we come up with one and handwave that we were using that title the whole time. If all of the players from that fandom would rather there not be a meta, then the play can be treated as if it's one of Shakespeare's histories, which moves the characters into the category of "you may think you know my story but he got all kinds of things wrong."

So, since we don't have any characters currently in game, I don't think we *have* to meta.

You're speedier than I. That was the statement I was looking for.

That's exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

OOC The Second!

Can Firekeeper's name on the cast list be changed to Blysse? It's totally confusing, I know, because narrative from her POV would always say 'Firekeeper', but she introduces herself as Blysse first, since that's her 'legal' name.
