Strokes of Genius, Wednesday (9/23)
In a continuation of an Approximately Week-Long Period of Time That Had Not Gone Well, Katchoo had woken up not only to realize that Francine's bed was empty and the most likely reason for that, but that she was a @(*&)! frikkin' guy AGAIN.
And scruffy this time, at that. Argh.
On a Wednesday, which meant work, and . . . great.
That guy slouched behind the register, staring at the cell phone in his hand like he didn't know what he'd do if it rang today, wore an awfully familiar scowl. The odds were good that the voice would sound exactly the same too, even.
This week could get better any time. Right?
[OOC: All I know is this Strokes of Genius post looks better when OCD-free. And open. And guess who's been listening to too much JoCo lately.]

Re: Oh hai, NFB
"Men," she huffed, more of the accusatory tone directed toward her current form than toward him, and toward Clocky, who was rolling by on a circuit of the store. "You and Merlin have both gotten on my case about this."
She probably wouldn't be complaining so much if it wasn't working.
"Pains in my ass . . . fine. Just not today, all right? Not looking like this, geez."
Re: Oh hai, NFB
Snap out of being the totally wrong gender. Yes, Arthur. You'd taken it just that idly when it happened to you.
"Make sure that you do."
Re: Oh hai, NFB
The lack of free icon slotsWords could not possibly describe it.Katchoo couldn't resist trying to slip in a little bit of a barb by asking, "Is that the crown prince talking, there?"
Hey. At least she hadn't said "His Royal Uptightness."
Re: Oh hai, NFB
He watched her a moment longer, then glanced towards Clocky.
Re: Oh hai, NFB
Katchoo sighed and leaned back against the back wall. "And you're a good friend to both of 'em, you know."
Re: Oh hai, NFB
He cleared his throat and said, a whole long beat too late, "Of course I am. As you said, I'm the prince of Camelot; I'm sure they're grateful for it. Anyway, unless you've got more to tell..."
Re: Oh hai, NFB
She took a moment to parse what he'd just said and felt . . . kind of like someone who'd been in the front row of the killer whale acrobatics show at Sea World, possibly.
"Not right now," she finally said. She was being considerate of his issues too. Honestly.
