Geoffrey opened the door, not quite sure what today was, but ready for play practice nonetheless.

Then he said a silent prayer that none of his actors came in as waterbuffalo or something similar.

The Beaver Buzz she'd appropriated from Luke's probably helped with that.

Sophie was there, and wandering backstage making lists. Hmm. Lots of lists. Things that needed to be done. But perfectly happy to talk to someone, should they need help.

She grabbed one and settled in with her script, looking around for her faery king or enchanted love.

Sam wasn't even remotely hungry, but he took a muffin anyway. He didn't think he'd be hungry later either, but all he had left to do today was get through rehearsal, and then he could go hide in his room, possibly until Parents Weekend was over. He might need a little bit of sustenance sometime around Saturday.

Karla was happy to grab a muffin and a sandwich from Priestly if he was around. She had her script out, hastily scribbling notes in the margin, trying not to get crumbs everywhere.

She was opening the Act with an argument. Sometimes, life was kind. She could really use a fight right now.

Sure, Kate had birthday cupcakes back in her room, but that was no reason to turn down muffins. She sat down eat one, watching the other people. Sometimes it was nicer to just watch.

Karla came on the stage, trying to get the cadence of the speech right in her head. It was different from the cadence she'd had as Lady M--the rhyming couplets had more in common with the witches' incantations. Perhaps that was how Lord Shakespeare showed that magic was afoot?

Hmm...she wondered how she could work with that.
