Our Lady of Fandom, Friday afternoon
Unaware that most people would change a sign such as the one standing outside of Our Lady of Fandom with, say, their hands, Castiel went out at about lunch time and stood wiggling his fingers around to rearrange the letters.
Welcome, Friends and Family
the sign said, in English, Spanish, and Sanskrit, followed by its usual declaration of catering to any religious or spiritual need. He'd considered adding something pithy about God or perhaps the souls of dogs, but rather felt that might contradict the whole "catering to any religion" thing.
The church was open, as it always was, and Castiel was there, as he sometimes was, ready to answer -- or dodge -- any questions from either the people of Fandom or their guests.
When he wasn't starting flame wars with slash fans on the internet, of course.
[ooc: Open church is open! Whee!]

Also part of him just wanted to check up on the angel.
"Cas? You here?"
no subject
"Dean!" He almost sounded excited to see him. "You're in town for the weekend."

Sam hadn't talked to Dean that soon, had he?

Best to ask, really.

"No, not at all. I was merely . . . curious."

"Castiel? Wingman, you in here?"
Garcia had to meet the angel, after all. It had to be.

"Not quite. You'll get it when you start talking."
no subject
"Derek. Who's your friend?"

Morgan grinned and turned one hand to present
"Penelope Garcia, the finest technical analyst working for the FBI as well as one of the hottest mamas you'll find working it anywhere. Garcia, this is Castiel. He's, uh... you wanna do your schpiel?"
no subject
[works for me!]

Castiel nodded to her. "Penelope." He glanced at Morgan, then continued. "I am an angel of the Lord."
His shpiel was very short.
no subject
"The real deal," he said as he glanced between Castiel and Garcia.
"You know I wouldn't deal with him if he was--"
You know. They both knew. The Reid Avoidance Thing might make more sense, though.
[ugh, little stickpin thing, CLICK damn you!]

"You can if you want, man. I've never seen 'em myself, but I'm assuming it's pretty impressive. Garcia?"
