Hoshi was doing recipe research today at the front desk, but in her mind, nothing beat actual recipe research in the kitchen. "Gunther, have you ever heard of this idea of making cake in a coffee mug in the microwave?" she asked, hoping the chef would give her a hand with tweaking the recipe.

Instead, she got a lecture on how real chefs didn't use things like microwaves. It was bad enough that the sous chef took pity on Hoshi slipped her a plate of chocolate plate while Gunther was ranting.
