Fight Club, Atlas Gym, Sunday Night

"Most of you know what this is," Tyler said, with the odd glance to Ghanima as she arranged safety equipment at the back of the gym. "For the rest of you -- we hit each other. Two to a fight, no powers unless everyone agrees, go until someone says stop."

"Any questions, we're here. Otherwise, go for it."

"A little teeny bat?" It would be cute! Also, help her get over that vampire thing. "Maybe?" She looked at Reno, then admitted, "Okay, maybe not."

"If it's a matter of maybe, Rookie, you don't want it." Reno laughed and gave his head a shake. "You're stuck with it for the rest of your days, yo. Don't be like me, an' get somethin' inked onto your ass while you're drunk in Mexico."

... Actually, Reno was kinda proud of his baby chocobo tattoo.

Dinah coughed, laughing and turning pink, and said, "Soooo, that must've been fun." She grinned. "So what've you been up to, if not new fights and new art?"

"Oh, plenty of new fights," Reno chuckled, shrugging. "I'm just comin' out on top of 'em, yo. Monsters in Edge ain't exactly the most dangerous things I been up against, and the people I gotta beat down..." He wrinkled his nose. "Well, they suck, yo."

That was him being nice about it!

"Awwww. Well, no aww. They're probably cruising for it, I'm guessing," Dinah said, grinning a little. "Aren't you glad you have a reason to come back here and pick up a proper fight with someone?"

"Damn straight I am," Reno laughed. "An' it gives me a chance to see some color that ain't grey, while I'm at it. Edge ain't exactly a pretty city, yo. I might have to send pictures, sometime."

Because that wouldn't be depressing as all hell. Really, now.

"I'd like to see pictures of it, yeah," Dinah said, curiosity overcoming everything else. "Except wait! No. Better not. Wouldn't want some people to see them. Or for me to mess up and mention stuff from them that's changed." She made a face and told him, "Time streams suck!"

Reno snorted and gave his head a shake, at that.

"Yeah, different timestreams suck," he agreed. "Good call, Rookie." He paused to consider for a moment, and then he offered her a little smirk. "I got pictures of Midgar, the way it was before. I ever show you them?"

Dinah brightened. "No! I'd like to see those. Kind of what you're rebuilding it toward, too. That'd be cool." She grinned. "You missed seeing me as a guy last month. I was taaaaall. Darnit."

"I got pictures of me as a chick," Reno mused, smirking as he pulled his phone from his pocket. "Hottest lesbian on The Planet, yo."

He was totally going to show Dinah those, first. Because... Well, he was proud of his boobs. Could anyone blame him?

Dinah hooted. A lot. "I was bi that day. Everybody was cute to me! And I want to see the hottest lesbian pictures! Only fair! I'll show you me as a hot guy!"

Reno was now holding up his phone to proudly show off the aforementioned hottest lesbian. And in this picture, he was actually wearing a top!

... Though it looked uncomfortably snug. Good thing most of the buttons weren't done up, huh?

"Gonna take a bit to top that one, yo!"

"Wow, you really are hot as a girl. Darnit, why didn't I take one of me shirtless?" Dinah asked aloud, examining Reno's photo with interest, then grabbing her own phone, and answering her own question, "'Cause that might've gotten weird, right. Here!"

"Aww," Reno said, grinning as he looked at her photo. "I kinda still wanna pinch your cheeks there, yo. What the hell's up with that?"

[And I flee for bed! Sp?]

"I don't know! How does that translate across gender?" Dinah asked, peering back at his photo. Fandom Kodak Moment: Looking at yourself and your friends as different sexes. "See, and I'd still ask her for help in a bar fight, but that's maybe because she looks like she could take on a bar. I dunno."

Reno snorted.

"You kiddin'? Bar, my ass, Rookie. I took out an armed hostage situation that day, zoto. Didn't even break a sweat."

And that would be because it had been a breezy day, and he'd distracted them by pulling his shirt open.

"Yay!" Dinah grinned at Reno, and elbowed him in the side. "Awesome. What did the hostage-takers want, anyway?"

And at that, Reno had to frown a little.

"Same as everyone else wants. Food. Work. A roof over their heads, yo."

Dinah sighed, deflating a bit. "That so sucks. It's more fun when it's people who aren't so desperate." She shook her head, and then bumped Reno's arm again. "I'm glad you got everyone out so they weren't hurt, though. Has any of that stuff with trying to get someone in charge gotten better?"

"Kinda," Reno agreed, shrugging. "There are pieces, they're bein' picked up here an' there. Looks like if there's a space for a leader needin' to be filled, Reeve is the one steppin' up to fill it."

Which amused the hell out of Reno. Reeve had a stuffed cat fetish.

"Reeve? He's one of your co-workers, right?" Dinah grinned. "Cool. You're picking up goodies at Turtle & Canary before you leave, right?"
