Today Mary had her laptop with her at the front desk. She looked busy, but anyone who really looked would probably notice that she was just rearranging her farm now that she'd found enough neighbors to expand.

"Hi," Jeff's back told Mary's front. "Er."

Pause.

"Hi."

"Jeff! How are you?" asked Mary. She was rather used to talking to Jeff's back.

"I'm excellent," Jeff proclaimed. Pause. "Well, just a bit. I'm sort of excellent. Slightly so. In the middling areas of... excellent."

"That's... goof, I think," said Mary. "Enjoying the weekend so far?"

"It's been slightly less than middlingly excellent," he confessed. "I was knocked out by the punch bowl. Sometimes it happens, you know, if you have a terrible lack of coordination and-- it just happens."

It's a big, spacious lobby, with plenty of room to sit around and chat.

Please don't let my crops die while I'm stuck at a baby shower.

I woke up this morning going "MY TOMATOES!"
