There was a lot of paperwork to be taken care of in the wake of Homecoming, and with Halloween upcoming. Nevermind that the island had been quiet for a while, which bore Cable some small worry. Well. In as much as life was ever quiet for him.
For one thing, Jan had taken up decorating every inch of the office today with whatever she managed to scrounge up.
That involved a lot of toilet paper and requisition forms.
Cable rubbed his forehead. Maybe Wade had been right about getting her involved in a training program before it was too late.
