Oz's mother had moved to Alaska. And it was there that she wanted him to come visit for Thanksgiving. He'd much rather go visit during the summer, but he could handle the weather up there now for a week or so.
All this of course had him researching the Native Cultures of that area. Hence the sale on Inuit Yupik and Aleut crafts.
