The Duck Pond, Tuesday Morning

There were some things that Jack just DID NOT want to have to deal with. Like spending the entire day covered in sticky eggnog.

Which is why he was skinny-dipping in the frigid, scummy duck pond in the park and frowning angrily.

He was a soldier; he'd dealt with worse.

There were certain drawbacks to being the point person on strange days. Mostly it was the phone calls. Then there the days when you get calls about people skinny dipping in the pond.

"Oh for the love of-"

Gibbs didn't finish. He just threw his hands up in the air and shook his head in frustration.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"You should see things from my perspective," Gibbs said rubbing his eyes. "Could you at least wear a swimsuit?"

"Yeah but the ducks are traumatized," Gibbs said pulling out his ticket book. "And I have to write you up for indecent exposure."

"Not unless you want it too," Gibbs said filling out the note. "Why? You going to ask for a pardon on a ticket where you have to pay a fine?"

"Well that's what happens when you bathe in a lake in the middle of December," Gibbs said dryly as he gave up the ticket. "Well that and shrinkage."
