Luke's Diner, Wednesday [12/2]

Poor Snarf hadn't quite recovered from his overindulgence yesterday, so Lion-o left him behind when he left for the diner.

He raised an eyebrow at all the tiny little Christmas trees that seemed to be everywhere, but they didn't bother him. Lion-o would have checked the taps in the kitchen to make sure there was real water flowing today. However, the guys in the kitchen went and barricaded the door as soon as he arrived. "You know, one day I'm going to find a way to get in there!" he yelled at them.

When he wasn't digging into a burger.

Deadpool might kill himself for this later, but right now the siren song of the music was calling to him.

Can you hear it, Lion-o?

"We're no strangers to love... You know the rules and so do I!"

Lion-o just stared. He knew Momoko talked a lot about Professor Deadpool, but he'd never really encountered the man until now and wasn't prepared for singing.

"Uhh, did you want to order some food?" he finally asked.

No, he did not want food. He needed to sing.

"A full commitment's what I'm thinking of. You wouldn't get this from any other guy..."

Oh dear.

"No, I don't really need a commitment, but thanks for the offer," said Lion-o, raising an eyebrow.

Well, that's what he gets for working today. Oh yeah.

"I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling. Gotta make you understand!"

Ever since he had taken this job, it had been one thing after the other, and now this.

"Well, that's very, uh, flattering," said Lion-o, flustered.

But Lion-o needed to know a few key things about Deadpool.

"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you, never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you!"

"That's really very nice, but, um, I'm not really that interested," said Lion-o, wondering if he could join the guys behind the barricaded kitchen door to get out of the situation.

Oh, he was just getting warmed up!

"We've known each other for so long. Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it!"

"But we just met! And my heart's not aching for anyone," protested Lion-o. The poor thing was taking this way too seriously.

Or was it?

"Inside we both know what's been going on.. We know the game and we're gonna play it!"

Good god, run, Lion-o!

Thundercats do not run from danger, but Lion-o was prepared to squeeze himself through the little window to the kitchen if he had to get away.

"I have no idea what game you're talking about, really," he said.

While Lion-o is busy trying to break into the kitchen.
