Things Reborn: Wednesday

Things Reborn was in the process of being redecorated for the holidays today. Actually it was mostly Layla moving the little trees around to various displays to make the store look more holiday-ish.

In between the shifting of the trees, Layla was quite happily making her usual inflammatory posts to various hero-worshiping websites.

ru daft? Can't you see his claws are all wrong and he has tattoos? The real one has claws coming out the top of his hand. Not two on top and one below his forearm. Plus the real one doesn't have those douche-bag tattoos on his arms. And if he's really an Avenger how can he be with the X-men at the same time?

Really it was all too easy.

Deadpool would be so pissed he missed out on mocking fanboys, but right now...

He had to sing.

"We're no strangers to love," He began, swaying like a moron in his trench coat and random sunglasses. "You know the rules and so do I."

When you know stuff, you tend to prepare for certain events in your life.

However there's nothing in the world that can prepare you for Deadpool singing Rick Astley in his husky Demi Moore voice.

"I'm not sure whether I should sing along or video tape this," Layla said boggling at the rick-rolling-Deadpool.

"A full commitment's what I'm thinking of... You wouldn't get this from any other guy."

Layla took another option. After snapping on one of the video cameras on the display case, she took a position behind Rick-Astley-Wade-Wilson and started mirroring his movements as any good backup dancer should.

Which really just made her look like a spaz.

Oh there was swaying all right. And twirling arm movements that looked less like a professional dancer than a dork attempting to look like a professional dancer.

There was also an attempt at backup vocals which probably wasn't a good idea.
