The Perk, Sunday late morning

Leto had spent most of yesterday in his room, but just the short trips to the common room to get food had given him the impression that something odd was going on again. He wasn't overly concerned, however, as it didn't involve him personally and he didn't sense any kind of threat.

Anyway, this was a good morning for a coffee and some kind of cake at the Perk. It was also a good day for wearing his birthday gift from Irulan.

[open, of course]

The assassin known as Triela was dressed to kill. Three inch heels that made her nearly 5'5", hair down, and that dangerous walk that helped her skirt accentuate her curves.

This episode Triela was being played by a petite blond with an over-done British accent (the constant changes in actress being justified by Triela's skills with disguises).

She ordered a cup of tea (because she was British this episode, dang it!) and took a seat at a table by herself, crossing her legs and flipping open a small laptop to check her morning email.

"Just passing through," she agreed with a nod and a somewhat flirtatious smile. "You are a local?"

"The dorms," she answered, as if this were a perfectly natural place for a visiting assassin to stay.

"I am here in case someone needs to call on my services." And historically Triela never got put on any episode that didn't need her services.

"I provide discrete elimination of problematic individuals." The phrase didn't make much sense, but she'd used it in the first episode she had appeared in, and it had stuck.

Momoko hadn't even noticed it was Triela! She stopped her musing and picked up her tray, bouncing cheerfully over to join her friend's table. "Trielllla!! Hi! Happy Sunday! I love your hair, by the way; I totally didn't recognize you!"

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2009-12-06 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Triela looked up throw heavily made-up eyes. "Have we met?"
heromaniac: (uhm what)

[personal profile] heromaniac 2009-12-06 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
"...?" Momoko blinked, the forkful of cake stopped halfway to her lips. "Have we met? Are you feeling okay? We're friends, aren't we? Are you wearing make up?!"

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2009-12-06 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
"Of course I'm wearing makeup. Men are so much more distractable when you're wearing makeup." And a tight blouse.
heromaniac: (yay 1)

"Well, that's true. Are you finally going to start looking for a boyfriend then? Yay! We should totally go somewhere and see where all the cute boys are. Although, really, this school is full of cute boys, just that some of them are mean jerks. So, what kind of boy are you looking for to be your boyfriend?" Momoko was already running through a mental list of boys to see who would be really cool for Triela to think about.

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2009-12-06 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
"A boy friend?" Triela repeated doubtfully. "And limit my options?" She stretched languorously. "And I don't like to be limited."
heromaniac: (eh-heh nudge)

[personal profile] heromaniac 2009-12-06 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
"Limit your options?" That didn't sound like the Triela she knew! Oh, Maybe this was a girl who looked like Triela like there was one who looked like her!

Momoko watched the other girl stretch. "Uhm, you are Triela, right? Or do I have the wrong person? Cause that would explain a lot. The skirt, especially. Hi! I'm Momoko!"

"I am Triela." That British accent really didn't fit, either. "It is nice to meet you."

Momoko was slowly eating her coffee cake and wondering if maybe having a person in town that looked like her was such a good idea after all. On her way through town, she'd been yelled at by some npc woman for something she had no idea about and was approached by several also npc motorcycle thugs that she'd never met before about some sort of race?
heromaniac: (wow)

[personal profile] heromaniac 2009-12-06 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ah! Hi Leto! How are you?" Momoko looked over with a cheerful grin, then, "Ah... wait, you are Leto, right? Not, like, Leto the great lion tamer from Spain, or the great Doctor Leto who I should know is saving millions of lives, right? You're still regular Leto?"
heromaniac: (Laughter)

[personal profile] heromaniac 2009-12-06 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
"Good! Me too!" Momoko laughed as well. "Whew! It's so weird being normal when everyone else is being weird! Especially when you don't have any warning that it's happening and you have to figure it out!"
heromaniac: (haaappppyyy sunflowers)

"Yep! It's totally fun once you realize that it's them and not you! It's like being inside of a movie or tv show! Just not one where you know the lines or the plot!" She nodded, then struck her palm with her fist as an idea occurred to her. "Ah! I should totally have been taking pictures yesterday and today!"

Jack had been out for a pleasant late-morning stroll when he found himself being chased by a herd of angry weasels.

He stopped to pound on the window of the Perk. "Help! HELLLLLP!" he shouted. Unfortunately, before he could grab anyone's attention, the herd swarmed over him, bearing him to the ground. Soon, there was nothing left of him but bones and his drab olive baseball cap.
